I began The Red Series during a time that I felt shattered.

At first, I was pouring my feelings into the paintings to release them and hope to heal myself. At first, there are more sadness, anxiety, and confusion in the works. Later, they then gradually shifted into something more peaceful. The faces, abstracted eyes, hands, elongated figures, and balloons have different symbolic meanings. The red colors are vivid and occupy large areas of the canvas. Built on my emotions, the paintings present situations and moments of my reflection at that time.
