Statement

Long before telescopes, people looked to the stars for guidance, sensing an invisible thread between the physical and spiritual. This timeless longing to connect with the cosmos continues to inspire my paintings. Through tranquil palettes and symbolic languages, my works bridge the mysteries of outer space with the inner landscapes of the mind, inviting moments of calm and reflection amid everyday life.

In my paintings, symbols abound — spheres, mist, light, ripples, and swirls. These elements float in undefined space, alluding to the vastness of the cosmos and the intricate landscapes of the mind. My painting language draws inspiration from various fields, including physics, psychology, and Buddhist philosophy. I am particularly fascinated by the non-linear perception of time, Carl Jung’s exploration of the collective unconscious, and Buddhist teachings that encourage grounded presence in a fleeting world. These references remain undercurrents in my work, bringing forth a sense of openness and wonder.

I typically apply translucent layers of paint combined with creamy paints on wood panels or canvases, using deliberate brushstrokes to create an ethereal and atmospheric lighting effect. My works often feature serene blue, violet, various tinted grays, and light shades of red and green. These palettes exude tranquility and a sense of frozen time.

The paintings invite viewers to pause and listen inwardly, experiencing the quiet resonance between the cosmos and the self.
